Iraka – A Traditional Japanese House in the Castle Town of Shiroishi

Conveniently located near supermarkets, restaurants, and a coin laundry, this property offers both comfort and ease of access. You can also take a short walk to the famous Shiroishi Castle, a nearby tourist attraction.

1st Floor




  • Living Room
    A unique space that combines the tranquility of traditional Japanese design with the elegance of Western antiques. The tatami and shoji create a peaceful atmosphere, while classical Western furniture adds a stylish contrast. It feels like you are traveling through time in this special setting.



  • Forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a luxurious moment of relaxation.



  • Glassware on the shelves is available for your use.




  • Kitchen
    The kitchen is equipped with a 2-burner gas stove and a fish grill, along with essential cooking utensils (refrigerator, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, frying pan, pot, knives, etc.).



  • Tableware for the number of guests is provided for your use during your stay. Note: Ingredients and seasonings are not provided, so please bring your own.




  • Garden View
    Enjoy the rich greenery of the garden. Note: Barbecues are not allowed. Please be careful not to fall from the windowsill.




  • Bathroom
    The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, bathtub, and shower.
    It also has bathroom heating and a bathroom dryer.
    Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided.

  • Coin Laundry
    There is no washing machine on-site. However, there is a coin laundry at "York Benimaru" within walking distance.

Accommodation Information



Iraka is a fully private rental house that can accommodate up to 8 guests. Meals are not included in the accommodation fee.



  • The same rate applies for up to 4 guests. For 5 or more guests, an additional fee will be charged for each extra person.



  • One free parking space is available on-site. Additional parking can be found at a nearby paid parking lot.





Children’s Rate


There is no special rate for children. Children over 2 years old are charged the same rate as adults. Please include children in your reservation as part of the total guest count. Children under 2 years old stay for free, but no bedding or towels are provided. If you require bedding for children under 2, please include them in the reservation under the "children" category.




Amenities


Towels and toothbrushes will be provided in your room upon arrival. For stays of up to 2 nights, 1 bath towel and 1 face towel will be provided per person. For longer stays, additional towels will be provided (e.g., 2 towels for 3-4 nights, 3 towels for 5-6 nights, etc.).



  • Bath Towel: 1 per person



  • Face Towel: 1 per person



  • Toothbrush: 1 per person




Note: Towels provided in the room are not for removal. If additional towels are needed, you can rent bath towels (330 yen/towel) or purchase face towels (220 yen/towel) at the Visitor Station from 9:00 to 20:00.



Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the bath.




Bedding


The bedding arrangements are as follows:



  • 1 Single bed (for 1 person)



  • 1 Semi-double bed (for 1 person)



  • 6 Futons (for 1 person each)



Two guests will be provided with a single and semi-double bed, but if you have specific preferences for futons or other bedding, please let us know in advance.





Check-in Information


Check-in is fully automated. You can enter the house at any time after 15:00 on your check-in date.
 Before check-in, we will send you an online form for self-check-in. Please fill out this form before arrival.





Barbecue and Fire Usage Restrictions


The use of fire (including barbecues and fireworks) is strictly prohibited. Barbecues are not allowed on the wooden deck or in the garden.



  • Only registered guests may enter the property.



  • After booking, we will send a form by email and request a guest list to be completed in advance.



  • During check-in, we will take a photo of each guest, collect passports (for foreign nationals), and obtain signatures.



  • We may ask for identification after check-in.



  • The house is equipped with a kitchen and cooking utensils (please bring your own seasonings).



  • The second floor is off-limits to guests.



  • We cannot store luggage before check-in.



  • Pets are not allowed.



  • Smoking is prohibited inside.



  • The use of fire outside of provided cooking tools is prohibited.
